Partition not visible in Finder

I have an AirPort Time Capsule - 2TB (Version 7.7.7.) with 2 partitions. One for Time Machine with the name data and one partitions for pictures. Now I cannot see the partition with pictures any more in Finder. In the disk support program, I can see that the partition is still available and with data. Is there anyone who can help me make to the partitions open again?

Thanks.

Michel

The Time Capsule drive cannot be partitioned unless it is removed from the Time Capsule and placed in a separate enclosure or caddy.....so that the partitioning can be set up using Disk Utility.

If the Time Capsule drive has been partitioned correctly, then you would see two partitions......"Data" and the name of the other partition when you open up the Time Capsule using the Finder.

It sounds like you may have partitioned the sparsebundle file that is located on "Data". Do not do this, as it will not allow Time Machine to operate correctly.

If you did this, you will need to erase "Data" and then start all over again with Time Machine backups. Please do not attempt to partition the Time Capsule drive or the sparsebundle file that contains your backups.
