Q: Strenghtening Macbook pro's cable

Leave the charger and cable plugged into a switched socket. Unplugging it an moving it around constantly causes kinks and breakage. Use the switch to turn on the power.

In that case, when you have to move it, wind the cable carefully around a wooden or plastic form, or wind it around your fingers into an oval shape and put it in a small ziplock bag. That's what I do.

You can always add a thermal sock around your cable. It gives al lot more strength and is very easy to apply. The sock can be bought in a regular DIY store.
