Q: How Sierra Updates Will Work

So I never updated to El Capitan, last year, but I was able to update to Sierra. I recently bought a game that required at least 10.11.2 to run, and my system doesn't meet those requirements, even after the Sierra update. So my question is this: When Sierra receives updates, will it become equivalent to past El Capitan updates, allowing me to play my game?

Sierra is 10.12 which means it is higher than 10.11.2.

Alright. Thank you. Then my last hail mary is to delete, then reinstall the game. If that doesn't work, I'll have to wait until I get my new computer.

No. Sierra will never be downgraded to be equivalent to El Capitan by any future upgrades.

What is the name of this game that you bought?

What I see is a game that doesn't run in OS X.
Where did you see a 10.11.2 requirement?

Xcom 2 is only compatible with Windows and Linux. It does not appear to have a version for OS X

Thats for a stream (Internet stream view) of game play. Not a way to play or install it on a Mac OS X version.
