Q: Why won't apple release a signed version of ios9 for those of us who can't stand ios10??

I HATE ios10 but apple now has made all versions of iOS9 unsigned.  I loved ios9 but need apple to post a signed version so I can go back to ios9.  IOS10 is slow, unresponsive, causes my phone to crash, is incompatible with so many apps and is the worst iOS I have ever used!!

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2

Because it would reopen patched security holes.

To make the "best of it", you should ask for help on EACH individual issue with a New Question

Tell a complete story in excruciating detail.

Do not waste time with "complaining" - we know you are unhappy that you have issues, everyone is

To start with, Apps crashing is not Apple's fault - it is up to the app developer to update their app to spec of iOS 10 = same as it ever was

    Hi,

Apple won't release a iOS 9 version because it would slow people to jailbreak their devices. That would then lead to open security patches in iOS, which would ruin Apples reputation of saying there OS is safe. I hope I was able to answer you question and have a nice day.

Would be nice, but since apple has followed this policy for the last ten years ... don't hold your breath.  You can usually revert for around a week after a new release of software comes out.  For business users, you can prevent os upgrades.  Install an MDM and block upgrades.
