Having changed your Apple ID, check that you have signed in - using your updated credentials - to iCloud, iTunes & App Stores and all other Apple services that use your Apple ID:

My old apple id automatically pops up with....... fill in the password
I can sign out and back in and my old one still pops up in there I just cant change it. :-(
