Q: Message app doesnt function iphone 5

Hello together,

unfortunatley my message app doesnt function. Since yesterday evening it crashes and i cant open the app. I already tried several things like for example restart my mobile phone, reboot it and do the backup but there is nothing for it

I already have the newest version of ios.

What can i do now?

If restoring as backup doesn't work, restore the device as NEW and set it up from scratch. Restoring the backup appears to be restoring the corrupted app data. If restoring as NEW doesn't work, then you'll need to bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.
