    Hi Tushaar Jindal,

I understand that you'll be getting a new iPhone 7 Plus and you are curious if it will work in your region. Congratulations! I know it's important to be comfortable knowing that your iPhone will work well once you have it, so I'm happy to help.

Since you are buying this iPhone from a different region, you'll want to make sure that it's unlocked in order to use it with a different carrier. If it's not unlocked when you get it, this article has information on how to go about getting it unlocked:

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Cheers!

Hey Sarah thank you so much for such a helpful answer ! I got to know that if I buy the iPhone from a different region I will not get the warranty..that's ok but I heard that service centers will not even touch that phone    Is that true ?

    Tushaar Jindal,

To obtain service in India, you'll want to bring your iPhone into an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

To determine whether or not they will be able to support you, you will want to contact them beforehand.

    Cheers!
