Q: Bug in cropping pictures after Sierra

Using a 27-inch iMac, Mid 2011.

I weekly add about 100 photos from my camera to Photos, and then need to crop them to square. I do this by selecting the first photo, go into Edit mode, do the cropping, THEN use the right arrow on my keyboard to go to the next photo.

Behavior in El Capitan - Select the crop tool, and then go into aspect and choose Square. The default seemed to be Freeform. Moving to the next photo, Crop tool still selected, but back to the default of freeform.

Now in Sierra, when moving to the next picture, Crop tool still selected, but the aspect shows Square. I am thinking 'great, always wished it did this, default to last used.  BUT... even though Square is selected, the Bounding box in the edit screen is Freeform, and the crop action is Freeform.  So now it takes 2 clicks to get to Square in reality. Have to close another aspect, any will do, and then select square to get proper bounding box on the screen.

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)
