Q: IOS update 10.0.2 on my 6Plus iphone

After installing the latest update on my iPhone, I have had several glitches.

1) Most annoying is that my texts lock up during typing and I have to close out. When I go back in anything I have already typed is gone.

2) When typing I occasionally have letters move upward on the screen in a tab-like shape and enlarge. It locks up preventing me from completing the sentence.

Any advice is appreciated!

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 10.0.2

Do you see this issue when typing in any other apps?

To start, let's force the Messages app to close and then restart your iPhone. Follow the steps in these articles to do so:
