    • Plug the iPhone into iTunes.  Be certain you are using a current version (12.5.1 or later to communicate to iOS 10).
    • Click on the iPhone's Photos tab on the left of the iTunes window.
    • Uncheck "Sync Photos".
    • Re-sync the iPhone.
