Hi!

If you would like to turn off Autofill while creating books in your Photos app, try this link for assistance. Turn off the auto-fill option in Photos projects

When you select a group of pictures to use in a Photos project, the pictures appear in an area below the project. You can drag the pictures one-by-one and place them where you want in the project, or you can click the Auto-Fill button just above the pictures. When you click the Auto-Fill button, Photos automatically places pictures into your project.

If you want this option turned off while you work on a project, follow these steps:

  1. Open the project.
  2. Control-click anywhere in the light-gray background of your project (the space surrounding the project's content).
  3. Click Enable Auto-fill Suggestions to turn off the option.

If you want to turn the auto-fill option back on, follow the same steps.

Thanks for using Apple Communities to post your concern. Have a great weekend.

Brendan Thank you very much. I have already created an album in the order I want but it does not upload in that order in the area below project. Is there a way I can have it upload in the order I want? Since I cannot have 2 photo windows open it is hard to remember the order for 90 photos! Have to keep flicking back and forth. Also can I keep the titles from the album?
