New iPhone 7 won't ring goes straight to voicemail DND is not on and its not on silent

I just got my iPhone 7 plus and it will not ring. It goes straight to voicemail. DND is off, silent is off, everything I could think to look at is ok. Sounds work on other apps. I just don't get it. In trying to fix the problem and calling it about a thousand times it rang twice and I answered. Each time I thought it was fixed but then it did the same thing again and did not ring and went straight to voicemail. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I will be going to the store if I can't figure it out. I'm thinking there is a problem with the actual phone.
