Q: Itunes not cataloging for 2013 Chrysler 300

ITunes library transferred to iPod(2), flash drive(4) or SD card(1) does not catalog correctly on 2013 Chrysler 300.  3rd party ripping software - (MP3 to folders) - catalogs and plays properly.  The systems in the Chrysler 300 have been checked and a soft reset of the audio system (as well as software updates) have been performed and these systems are working properly.  All storage media content shows up exactly the same and performs the same.  Only the 3rd party ripper content placed on flash drives or SD card works properly.  Is there anyway iTunes can be made to do the task properly as I really want to use the iPod rather than the other media?

How are you transferring your iTunes library to the flash drive and SD card?  For the iPod, you are probably using the Sync Music setting in iTunes to automatically sync songs.  But you can't do that to generic storage devices

For my 2 iPods, I was using the sync music directly from iTunes.  For the flash drives and Sd card, I was formatting the cards as MS DOS FAT with Master Boot Record and copying the music folders directly from the iTunes folder.  I have been working from my IMAC and I am going to repeat the same process from my MacBook Pro today.  Either iTunes is busted on my IMAC or iTunes cannot do what I want it to do.  I will see how the devices play when I repeat the processes I have been doing using the MacBook.  I do not sync iTunes over my network so if iTunes on my IMAC is corrupted in some way, the MacBook Pro should (hopefully) not be.  If that is the case I can correct the issue.  With the flash drives and Sd cards, everything worked perfectly when I used the 3rd party ripper on one of my Windows machines and formatted/copied the music folders as I did on my MAC's.  More later.  Thanks for the reply.
