How can I set a location based reminder every day when I get to work? I'm using iOS 10. I might get to work anywhere from 4 to 10am and I don't want the reminder to go off if I don't go to work on a particular day.

What is it that you want the reminder to remind you of (e.g. is it to lower ringer volume while at work)?
While the answer might be none of my business, the reason I ask is that I considered something similar to remind me to lower the ringer volume while I am at work. Coming from Android, I would have preferred a time-scheduled solution to lower volume during the weekday and raise it back up in the evening but alas, no such app for iOS. The next best thing would be to lower the volume when I go to work and raise it when I leave.
I found an app in the app store called "Auto Mute By Location", which does what it sounds like it would do: when I am within 200 meters of work, it will lower the ringer to 20% and raise it to 75% when I leave. You can set it to mute/unmute instead if you like. I'm not going to go into a great amount of detail since I don't know what the daily reminders might be for -- whereas my reply is focused on lowering the volume or muting while at work.
JJust to do paperwork when I get. It's a daily truck report. problem is i might start at different times and have different days off.
YOu you can set a location reminder for a day and it works great. Once u say every day then ur required to attach a time to it and it seems to fire off even when I don't go to work.
it needs to meet both requirements as it says in the reminder. Don't fire off the reminder if I don't go to the location i.e. I didn't go to work.
the other apps just piggy back off of iOS as far as I can tell
I found this thread looking for something like this. I want an alarm that alerts me at 11:30 that the lunch truck is here, but only on days that I actually go to work. So I want a geofence to tell my phone I'm at work, and then, IF I'm at work at 11:30, then the alarm tells me the lunch truck is here. Every app I've tried to set this up only allows a geolocation activated alarm that tells you when you enter or when you exit an area. I can't say IF I'm in, then alarm at 11:30. Does anyone know what I mean?
TThat works fine for a single reminder. I need to be reminded every day when I get to work. The only way to do it is to specify a time. I don't want the reminder to go off if I don't go to work. So if I select repeat everyday I get reminded still even though I never go to work.

In "Reminders" choose "Remind me at location"
For example, I set a reminder up for the movie theatre, so that when I walk in I get a reminder. So I turn my phone to silent.
I don't think I've ever seen an iPhone app with that type of conditional alarm. Sorry.
I have set a location based reminder as shown in my picture. It continues to notify me every time I go there. (It is not a single reminder.)
I was looking at a few apps in the App Store, and saw one called "Alarmed ~ Reminders + Timers" by Yoctoville. At first glance, it looks somewhat complex and is possibly overkill; however, it has location based popup/repeat reminders with snoozing, cloud/device backups, Siri support, custom sounds and more.
It is free although it does have in-app purchases to enable advanced features (from what I skim read, I don't think you will need the advanced features for location based pop up repeat reminders).
The only negatives I can see to location based reminders for your desired use is, you might get a reminder when you are driving by work on your day off, or perhaps you might get multiple reminders if you go for lunch NEAR work (but not at work, just at the threshold of the location/coordinates). Lots of positive reviews, no complaints about battery, etc.
I found this thread because I was looking for the same information. I found this article that has a solution.
You pretty much have to have your work address saved and then use Siri to set up a custom reminder. For example you can say "Siri, remind me every time I get to work to fill out paperwork."

Update: there are a few location based reminder apps in the app store. Possibly one of those may meet your needs.
