Q: memory full, dont want to restore. but need to update

hi.. i am just trying my luck to see if theres any solution about my phone at this website. i have been using iphone 4 since 2010. so theres thousands of photos in my phone. and i knew that my phone memory is nearly full so i didn't do any backup and thus unable to update my phone. now my phone can't turn on and only shows that i must connect to itunes and update my phone(but memory is full). so my question, is there any ways that i can recover my photos back without doing factory restore?

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.1, Y

If your phone shows the iTunes logo and sync cable, it's in recovery mode. Anything on the phone is already gone. If it wasn't backed up or synced to the cloud, there is no way to recover it.

AWW so sad... if everything is truly gone, why did itunes say i can't update because not enough memory? is there any ways to take out the memory from iphone?

No, you can't take the memory out of the phone. Why in the world have you not been backing it up? It can back up to iCloud automatically, or back up to iTunes when you sync.

Once the phone is in recovery mode, anything on it is gone.
