Quicktime Pro transfer question

Kind of a weird question to ask in a forum, but I was told to come here by tech support, so here it goes.....

I've junked my old computer which had a version of quicktime pro on it. Now I've bought a new computer.

Is there any way to bring my quicktime copy from the old computer to the new computer?

Thanks!

First you must make sure your installed version is the same as that you purchased the key.
Version 6 keys will not work in version 7 so you may need to buy a new key.
If the versions are the same simply enter the registration info (from the confirmation email) into the "Register" fields (QuickTime Control Panel) using copy/paste.
Delete the registration from the older from the "old" PC so you're only using one copy of Pro.
