QAmy Mac book air has developed screen problems, as shown below. Anyone else seen this, and any ideas to fix?

Hi Mflong,

If you are seeing issues with the display on your MacBook Air, here are a few things you can try to address the issue:

Restart the computer
Start the computer in safe mode - macOS Sierra: Start up in safe mode
Reset the SMC - Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac
Attach an external monitor or TV to your MacBook Air - macOS Sierra: Connect a display or TV

Mflong, if the issue persists after trying these steps, you may need to make an appointment an Apple Retail Store Genius or an Apple Authorized Service Provider in your area so they can physically inspect your MacBook Air.
