iphone 7 call quality poor

Hi, am facing this issue since I bought the new phone, I am told by multiple people that my voice on other side breaks and its muffled, I also got my phone changed however its still causing the same issues, I also changed my carrier sim card but didn't work, Apple needs to do something about it -not sure if its software issue or hardware to blame- hope its software stuff to get it fixed with bug fixing...Anyone else having this issue?

iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.3

Thank you for your reply, I tried that too didn't work..also very few are facing this issue which makes me think its hardware, if its software then it would have been more wide spread. I also tried erase all content from phone, then tried fresh clean os installation from iTunes directly - not from back up, tried checking sim card/tray, tried removing cover with TPU frame thinking that 7 has new antenna placement might interfere with signals - no luck..checked signal strength by Dialing *3001#12345#*at my location not best but fair but then with that strength never had issues with 6 before!!

I Have the exact same issue with my iPhone 7 I have had 4 total replacements, its not you its not me its the iPhone 7 The microphone pickup is extremely narrow shaped and will only pick up my voice if I'm talking directly into the bottom of the phone. If i turn my head just a little bit people tell me my voice is garbled and can't hear me. The only fix i have is to remove the sim card and put it in my 6 then its PERFECT

I have a 7+ with perfect audio, my associate does also, and somewhere around 50 million purchasers don't have a problem because if they did many of them would complain. If you demonstrate a problem to Apple they will replace the phone. As they have for several of the users who have posted here. Some have even called Apple from their phones to demonstrate the problem and have gotten replacements. That's what warranties are for; when you build 100 million devices some of them will not be perfect. It would be nice if they were, but real life isn't like that. If you take your phone to Apple and demonstrate the problem (a voice memo is a great way to do it) they will give you another phone. And you can test it before you walk out.
