Apple Watch Series 1 Processor upgrade
I read somewhere that the Apple Watch Series 1 would receive a processor upgrade from the S1 chip to the new dual core S2 processor like the Series 2 has. Is this true?

Apple Watch Series 1 has an upgraded S1P processor, which is faster than Apple Watch (1st generation). Series 2 models have an S2 processor.
S1P and S2 share the same processor and GPU speeds. The S1P chip does not include GPS.
