How to play .wmv videos on my iPhone 7 Plus

I have many exciting videos in .wmv, is there a way/software to convert these videos to iPhone 7 Plus supported video format?

Anyone has any advice?

Rather than convert them, why not just get the free VLC for Mobile for iOS from the iTunes Store? It will play most everything including those windows media videos. There is a Mac and iWatch version too.
