Q: Cannot sync ios10 with itunes 12 on laptop

I have now downloaded and re-installed itunes 12.22 now more than 4 times on my laptop; windows 12, but the system does not pick up my iphone6 as a device. I have also searched for an older version of itunes i.e. 10 but, cannot find one to download. What to do?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10.0.2

Don't bother with an older version of iTunes. You need at least iTunes 12.5.1.21 to work properly with iOS 10.
