Oct 25, 2016 2:07 PM in response to FoxFifthby patrickfifth,I am using a folder which I sync to Lightroom publishing service and add and delete images that I then sync via iTunes. The problem is that when an image is deleted out of that folder it does not delete off of my iPhone. Images get added but they don't get deleted as it is stated to work in this support article:
Each time that you sync your iOS device with iTunes, the photos and videos on your iOS device will update to match the albums on your computer.
I assume that by "match" it means that will add or delete so that the album is identical to the corresponding folder. This is not happening in my case.

Oct 25, 2016 3:43 PM in response to patrickfifthby FoxFifth,I haven't used iTunes to sync anything for quite a while (switched to using iCloud which isn't necessarily a good idea in many cases especially for photos as it syncs all photos rather than selected folders/albums). But when I last used it, it worked the way that you assume it should -- adding or deleting from an album that was previously synced so that it matches the current contents of the album on the computer. I haven't seen any other reports of that not working correctly so I'm at a loss.
The only thing I can think of that you might do is to basically start over: try the "Stop syncing all photos" as described in Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all your devices - Apple Support in order to remove all of the synced albums completely and then sync the desired albums again.
