Using Mac OS Sierra and Safari 10.0 email links not working - hovering over the link works but pressing the link resulta in nothing happening. The same link works in Firefox and Chrome, but not in Safari 10.0
Pjus a regular link on the Apple site does not work.
Any ideas? Thank you
You may have a third party Safari extension or third party plugin installed that's causing a conflict.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Uninstall one extension then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.
If you have not done this already, go step by step and test.
1. Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box beside "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
2. Remove Cookies and test.
Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and Website Data...:
Click the “Manage Website Data” button.
Remove all cookies except ones from Apple, your internet service provider and banks.
3. Disable Extensions and test.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions
Select and disable all extensions and test.
Enable Extensions one by one and test.
To uninstall any extension, select it and click the “Uninstall” button.

Thank you - I have tried all of these without success. Still have the same problem.
And again I know the "problem" is with Safari because when I open the same web site in Firefox or Chrome, the links work perfectly.
