Burn playlist to disk is greyed out

I am trying to burn a playlist to a cd but the option 'Burn playlist to CD' is greyed out. This has not happened before so I am confused as to why it is happening now.

Any help would be great.

Cheers

I have apple music, but I purchased an album with the intention of burning it to disk for my wife. Burn List to Disk is greyed out, for the album I purchased.

It sounds like if I have Apple Music, I can no longer burn disks of ANY music I purchase from iTunes store, is that correct?

Because if this is the case I will be cancelling Apple Music, that's a really dumb restriction.

Hi,

Music that you purchase from the iTunes store can be burned to disc BUT music downloaded as part of the Apple Music subscription can't be burned to disc. You are not purchasing this tracks. You pay a subscription that allows you to stream or download music from the Apple Music library and you can only play those tracks whilst you have an active subscription. DRM is applied to those tracks to prevent them being copied / burned.
