Hi , i got a problem with my iphone 5c , a few weeks after installing ios 10 , the screen started opening apps randomly and the touch screen wouldnt work for a while unless i locked it and reopened the phone , and after a while this would happen again. Can someone give me an idea on what is wrong with my phone.

software glitch, most likely.

Restore the phone, first from backup. If that doesn't solve the issue, restore as a new device and set up the phone from scratch.

If restoring the phone doesn't solve the problem, I'd suggest that you have a digitizer that's failing. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.
