Contacts saved from whatsApp donnot appear in phone contacts

Hello!

since I have installed iOS10,

when someone send me a contact via whatsapp,

I choose "create new contact" then "done"

but the contact is not saved in my phone contacts

I have to copy the name, number, etc. and create from iphone contact

I have checked in settings->privacy and whatsapp has access to my contacts

what is the problem then?

iphone 6, iOS10.0.2, whatsapp version 2.16.13
