iPhone crasch after app update

If you are running IOS 10.0.2 and get a "apple" during iPhone boot (and its stuck there) after

updating your apps in Appstore, the problem might be this:

There is a compatibilty problem with the Messenger app that cause this problem on some devices.

After you update the Messanger app that was released October 20, 2016 you might get into a mode

that prevents the iPhone to boot up normally.

It stucks at the Apple.

Hard and soft reboots does not help.

Removing battery does not help.

The solution is to do the following steps:

1. Shut down your iPhone

2. Press and hold the homebutton

3. Connect the Cable that is connected to a computer with iTunes

4. Now you will get a message in iTunes on your computer that asks what you want to do

5. There are 2 options, restore and update. Choose UPDATE

6. Wait

7. Now you will be able to use your iPhone again and no data will be lost

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2
