Home videos are not visible in iTunes anymore

After the last update of itunes my home videos are not visible in itunes anymore. When I search my iMac i found the home videos in the folders iTunes, Movies, Home Videos.

How come itunes is not pulling the data and what can i do to go back to the working version of itunes? i.e. use TimeCapsule?

i use an Imac 2011 model, and i am running sierra and the latest version of itunes. (since the update i can also not sync my devices anymore, itunes telling me that they are connected to a different library ... also i only have one library on this imac and my devices never were conncted to any other Mac,

Thanks.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), iOS 7.0.4

Nope - Not there and I've searched everywhere in iTunes on my Mac Mini using the latest iTunes and Operating system. (Unless I'm totally daft)

Home movies are accessed in iTunes by first showing your Movies library in iTunes, and then selecting Home Movies in the sidebar (under Library)

If you don't see Home Movies there (under Library), move mouse pointer over Library. To the right of Library (still in sidebar), the word Edit appears. Click Edit, to show checkmarks next to the available movie "views" under Library. Checkmark Home Movies, if it's currently not checked, and then click Done.
