Thunderbolt Display 27' camera not working after 10.12.1 update

I'm using the Thunderbolt Display 27' as my main monitor for my MacBook Pro 15' Retina.
After recent update to 10.12.1 the built in camera in the display is not recognised/ is not available any more.

Hi mattfromwroclaw,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems that after the update the iSight camera is not being recognized by the computer anymore. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac

Did you try unplugging the TBD from wall, waiting 5 minutes, then plugging back in?

I have the same problem.

Reset SMC & NVRAM & external firewire cable with no change. If I recall I had a similar issue back in Fall 2013 when Mavericks was released. Apple took the "there's nothing wrong at our end" approach & then it magically went away in an incremental upgrade. Maybe its history repeating?
