After upgrading to MacOS Sierra the Klee font I was using was not there any more, but was available for download within Font Book.
It downloaded ok but is not showing up as being available within App software - Pages, MS Word, Scribus.
Any suggestions for a fix please?

Please open font book via spotlight , click on all fonts you will see Klee and in front of it OFF is written . This font is disabled from font book that 's the reason you are not able to use it or shown in pages ...
To , enable take your cursor on top menu bar click on edit > choose font having OFF in front of it > click on enable font family .

Thank you yes that gets it to show up in Pages, but not in Scribus.
Scribus may need an "additional path" to find the Klee font, but I have tried
/library/fonts
/system/library/fonts
/users/me/library/fonts
and it doesn't seem to be in any of these. Any idea where it's hiding?!!

You need to rebuild the font caches. One way is to restart in Safe Mode (hold shift key) then restart normally.

I did a find for files with Klee in their names. It appears that Klee.ttc exists deep in a package, not in an easily accessible place.
/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/A TS.framework/Versions/A/Support/FontSubsets/Klee.ttc

I was hoping this wasn't the case but I added the location of Klee.ttc to Scribus which is in a different place than where Luis found it. I think what he found is perhaps a shortcut to Klee.ttc. The one he found is only 90.3 KB. The font is actually 14.8 MB and in a different location.
/System/Library/Assets/com_apple_MobileAsset_Font3/<a folder with a slew of numbers and letters .asset>/AssetData

Putting that long path into Scribus fixes the problem - great!
Do you think I should move the Klee.ttc file to the normal location or leave well be?!
