HomeKit Home App Sunrise/Sunset automation not working

JJust installed first set of HomeKit devices in house, Philips Hue bridge & lights. EUsong Apple TV 4 as HomeHub. Set-up a number of automations in the Apple Home app, including ones using the Sunset & Sunrise settings. All the timed Automations are working correctly, but anything on the Sunrise or Sunset automations aren't working. ive checked settings in AppleTv and elsewhere, everything appears correct, just any Sunrise or Sunset automations don't work. Apple TV is on TVOS 10.0.1, other iOS devices on 10.1.

I have the same problem. Automation based on sunset and sunrise dos not work. My theori is that for this function to eork the actual phone needs to be on the network (which it is most nights) but something goes wrong when its moved away from the network. I have not found any settings for location on the apple tv 4th gen so this could be the reason. I assumed that this wad transfered from the iphone but mybe not.

The solution i have found (that works) is using IFTTT. This works for sun set perfectly but i have not found a trigger in IFTTT for sunrise.
