Just updated to ios10. I see an email account in the format of name at icloud dot com has been created/enabled. I want to disable/delete this account. How can that be accomplished?

Thanks. It was/is off already. Yet when I went to icloud.com it notified me of 2 emails I received on that account. Puzzling.
Go to Settings > iCloud > turn off Mail (assuming this is on an iOS device you're referring to). Mind you, that disables it and not deletes it. An iCloud account cannot be deleted. All one needs to do is simply not use it.
If you turn it off on the iOS device, it wouldn't stop you from getting mail(s) to the account. It only means it just won't populate to your iPhone anymore.
