When will IOS 10.1 be fixed to allow saving of photos

SInce loading IOS 10.1 i can no longer save photos from a web page unless the page is designed in a very specific (poor) way.

are apple going to fix this soon or should i use a different browser / scrap the ipad and use a computer?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
