How to export videos from my iPad???

Exporting videos from my MacBook Pro is easy -- all the commands are present. But the photos program on the iPad does not seem to have the controls. How can I export (to an external hard drive/jump drive connected to the lightning port) videos without emailing each (usually to large to email) and then collecting them in some kind of folder? And without Air Dropping all of them to the MacBook to export.

There must(?) be a simple, single step process.

If there are videos in your iOS Photos app, you can transfer these back to your Mac by simply connecting up your iPad to your MacBook. Both the iTunes app and your Photos app on your MacBook should launch.

iTunes will backup everything on your iPad, but you have to use the import function of your MacBook's Photos app to import those videos from the Photos app on iOS to the Photos app on the Mac.

If you want to access copies of anything that can be read by your iOS device,

There are a few special storage devices for mobile devices.

There are portable hard drives for mobile devices made by Western Digital and Seagate.

There are special mobile USB flash drives made by SanDisk (now owned by Western Digital)
