Hi forum. This is what my MBP 17" early 2011 looks like when I try to boot it.
Never seen this before. After the progress bar has filled up, the screen goes all grey and then nothing more happens. If I leave it for a while, the fans rev up, but no other signs of life. This happens regardless of boot disk, I've tried a few. Does anyone have a tip or some kind of input?

Yes, it turned out to be a faulty logic board. I got it replaced for free through the repair programme, now the computer is as fine as ever. Many thanks for the suggestion. The programme ends on 31 December 2016, so anyone with similar problems should hurry.
