Hi, mashfique!

Thanks for brining your iMessage inquiry to the Apple Support Communities. If I'm understanding, you've recently changed carriers and gotten a new phone number, but your iPhone is still showing your previous number listed under Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and it won't verify. I'd be happy to help make sure your new number is being used with iMessage!

You'll first want to remove the old number. If you're not using an Apple ID, you can easily do this by going into Settings > Messages and turning the iMessage toggle off. If you are using an Apple ID, follow the steps from this article: Add or remove your phone number in iMessage or FaceTime on your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac

Specifically, check out the "Remove" sub-section of the "Set up or remove a phone number" section at the top, as explained here:

Remove

If you don't want calls or messages for your iPhone on your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, you can remove your phone number. There are two ways to do this:

  • On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Sign out of your Apple ID account. Then go to Settings > FaceTime and sign out of your Apple ID account.
  • If the phone number that you want to remove belongs to an iPhone that you can't access, change your Apple ID password. This removes all phone numbers from your iPad, iPod touch, and Mac. Calls or messages for the removed numbers won't appear on those devices anymore.

Since you have changed your number and carrier, I suggest performing both steps: sign out of iMessage with your Apple ID, then change your Apple ID password. This will remove your phone number from your Apple ID and all associated devices you use with iMessage.

Once you've removed your phone number, you can turn iMessage back on under Settings > Messages. If you are only using your phone number, this is all you need to do. If you do want to use your Apple ID for iMessages, though, you can also then sign back in with your Apple ID and new password under Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.

Cheers!
