How add number to "send & receive"?

Our Verizon plan has 3 phones, mine, my daughter and my wife's. They are all under one Apple ID. All 3 numbers used to be in my phone under send & receive for messaging, but recently my daughter's number has disappeared. I would like to have access to her text messages, but now I cannot. When I go under "REACHABLE" in the settings of Apple ID setup on website, and try to add my daughter's number, it says "the phone number is already being used", and doesn't let me add the number, but the number is not there!!!

How can I add her number there so I can receive texts that go to her phone?

Thank you

Hi

For Messages along with other features and services to work as intended, you should each have a separate Apple ID and be signed in accordingly on each iPhone.

Should you wish to share eligible past and future purchases (iTunes music, apps, books, etc), you can still do so via Family Sharing. Other features include a shared family calendar, the ability to set reminders that will alert all family group members and the option to turn on Ask to Buy for any member who is not an adult.
