How to delete clickshare launcher application

You can delete the clickshare launcher in the normal way (dragging it to the trash and emptying it) if you quit it using Activity Monitor first:

1. Launch Activity Monitor (in the Utilities folder in Applications)
2. Find the clickshare launcher in the list of processes, you can click on the Process Name column to sort them by name
3. Double click on the clickshare launcher application
4. Click the Quit button
5. Click Quit on the "Are you sure you want to quit this process?" message
6. Move the clickshare launcher application to the trash and empty it

I solved this problem. Boot your mac in the safe mode (Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator) after you can delete the clickshare launcher app. Don't forget to reboot after.

Another option for deleting it is first to kill the running application from the activity monitor

and then just trashing it.

The reason for what you probably have the message "impossible to remove a protected app" is caused by the fact that the application is running (I had the same problem) ... but nothing appears in the Dock ...

Launch Activity Monitor, locate the "clickshare launcher" process and kill it !

Now you can remove the app like you do usually (personally I use App Cleaner)

move it to the trash, then restart the mac, then empty the trash.
