How do I clean the smudges off of my MacBook Pro screen?

I have a MacBook Pro. Whenever I try to wipe fingerprints and various smudges off of the screen, it only creates more streaky smudges. When my screen is displaying something light, I can stand the smudges, but when the screen is dark/black, they are very visible and distracting. I tried to use the screen cloth that came with the MacBook, as well as another glasses cloth. I tried using these both with breath and with a little bit of water. Every time I do this, the cloth creates streaks on my screen. What can I use to clean my screen that completely removes streaks and smudges?
