iPhone 7 Plus Bluetooth to other devices

After upgrading to the new iPhone 7 Plus I am unable to now find my UE Boom speaker when I search for Bluetooth devices. I just get the searching spinning wheel and no result. Any solutions anyone? I no longer have my earlier iPhone which I erased before sending back to phone company.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.1.1

I have just discovered that there is a small round bubble of a sync button on the speaker that needs to be depressed for the iPhone to find the speaker. It is close to the speaker on button. Thank you
