Iphone 7 plus microphone not working

The problem is microphone issue. I always either use the bose noise canceling adopted headphone to make the call, or I put it on speaker. But today, I did not use either method trying to make a phone call by using the phone directly closed to ear. It is very strong, after I dialed number, I can only hear very noisy sound, I cannot hear another sound from phone unless i put it on speaker. I also tried other software such as whatsapp , it happened the same issue. But after I plug the bose noise canceling adopted headphone, it works. After about 2 hours, everything worked fine, the problem has gone.

Is this software problem or hardware problem, who should I contact with if I had the same problem again?

Hey hi I had a problem with my headphones

Headphones is working perfectly with YouTube if I call some one it's won't work with any call video and audio Only work on YouTube please solve my problem

I have an iPhone 7plus thanks

i have same problem with Iphone7plus microphone (brandnew 1 month old) . If i answer a call, they can't hear me well, even the volume is way up full. It is up to date in software. If i use skype , voice is choppy. Whatsapp voice is choppy. I checked the setting, it is in full volume. i have checked all the apps is okay volume wise. I have reinstalled all the apps, but still the same.

I contacted the applesupport chat, very difficult. No one is available. I don't know what to do. Hope somebody could help. Contact email ***

I’m having the same problem. I am going on 4 months , Apple support stated it was the hardware, they have given me 4 replacements. So I went from a bran new phone to a referb phone. NOT HAPPY. In December the support person couldn’t get a answer on what is wrong, so he gave me a 20 dollar credit and said he will contact me in a few days. Guess what !!!! It’s been 2 months and no call problem is still happening. I’m going on 5 months with this problem. I bet if I didn’t pay my bill in 5 months I wouldn’t have service. Can someone from Apple please assist me. Apple even went as far as upgrading my phone to a IPhone X and I still had the problem. That cost me 190 dollars. I’m not sure if it’s time to get this problem on the news since I now see I’m not the only person. APPLE CAN YOU PLEASE ASSIST.
