Constant turn on and off / restore issues

Hello,

Anyone got and answer when my iPhone 6 keep switching on and off by itself (similar to flashing)? It won't respond to any of the reboot option such as simple switch off or when clicking the waking button with the home button. I tried connecting it to iTunes to restore it by connecting it and pressing the wake and home button together but an error occurs and breaks off the process.

This all happened after I updated my phone to iOS 10.1.1

Would be nice if someone knows how to solve the issue.

Hello Floetry89,

Thanks for asking about your iPhone 6 issues since you upgraded to iOS 10.1.1 here in the Apple Support Communities. I will be happy to check this out with you.

Please try restoring the iPhone using recovery mode and iTunes one more time. The steps must be done in order as described in this help article: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .

If you still get an error, there are quite a few help articles for specific errors. The general article is here: If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod . If you are able to get a specific error code, please check the article that addresses that error:

1. Get help with iOS update and restore errors

2. If you see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iOS device

3. If you see error 53 and your iPhone or iPad gets stuck on the ‘Connect to iTunes‘ screen

4. If you see Error 3194, Error 17, or ‘This device isn‘t eligible for the requested build‘ in iTunes

If you have third party virus protection or firewalls, you may need to check one of these help articles: Resolve issues between iTunes and third-party security software OR If iTunes can‘t contact the software update server for iPhone, iPad, or iPod .

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
