URL Being Redirected to Malware Site for One OS X Account

I seem to have some kind of corruption or malware in my account on my Macbook that is redirecting one specific URL to a site with an invalid SSL certificate and which tries but fails to mimic the appearance of the web site.

I verified this by using a different Mac to go to the site without a problem. Then I created a fresh account on my Macbook and was also able to get to the web site without a problem.

Both Safari and Chrome warn of an invalid certificate and probably malware web site when I use my primary account, go to the spoofed web site and click on any links.

Any ideas on how to debug and fix this problem within my specific account would be appreciated.
