Powerbeats 3 Wireless

I recently purchased the Powerbeats 3 and I noticed the same thing about the battery percentage. I'm no expert, but I'm inclined to say that this is something that will most likely be addressed in a software update. I say this because up until very recently I was using the Powerbeats 2 with my iPhone7 plus, and the battery percentage (and new icon) were showing up in the top right corner of my iPhone's screen. I noticed the actual percentage was no longer there when I paired the Powerbeats 3 to my phone, it's probably the way the W1 chip connects to the phone that is causing the issue. In the meantime I guess we all have to use the battery widget.

I have a pair of Gen1 and when connected i get the % left in the widget screen and on the Status Bar, Same for another pair of bluetooth headsets. but with theses new Gen3 Powerbeats i only get the % in the widget screen, Why?

Why can the Gen1 offer this vs the new updated Gen3? because of W1???

Things seems to be going backwards Apple/Beats... Make it right please.. i don't see why we now have to spend more time on something that worked perfectly before.

Don't know if this is any good to you chap, if you go on the widgets screen and add battery, you can view the percentage there.

In my iphone 7 i am unable to check battery percentage for powerbeats 3 in my bluetooth settings please forward me the instructions

If you go to the widgets screen (the one left of the home screen) and scroll to the bottom where it says add widget and select that then add the battery widget you can view the percentage on the widget screen.

What's interesting to me is that the headphone icon doesn't even show up, as it does for all of my other Bluetooth devices.

Actually I tried power cycling them and I got the icon back but no battery percentage. And it fits there with my Jaybird X2s.

As too people said in their helpful responses the battery percentage is not in the widget.

I understand. However, that does not explain why the battery percentage is not in the top bar like with every other Bluetooth headset that I own. It is an interesting anomaly.

I have tried the same and still not able to get it in the widget. Is there any thing else that I'm missing?

If your batter widget isn’t there, pareses edit at the bottom of the list and add it. Done!

There is a power level beside the top menu icon with powerbeats version 1. With v3s it's gone.... you need to go to the widget to see the power level now... a waste of time.
