iPhone intermittently won't connect to wifi

I have an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS. I also have BT Infinity with the latest hub. The wifi works without any problems with my laptop, tablet and smart tv. However, it doesn't like my (or my wife's) iPhone. It's intermittent. Sometimes it will connect. Sometimes it won't. There seems to be no reason. WiFi assist is OFF on both iPhones. My data is going through the roof as such. Any suggestions? The screenshot was taken standing next to my hub.

Hello asc14@,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding your iPhones have been intermittently connecting with your Wi-Fi network. I know consistent Wi-Fi connection can be very important, especially if it's impacting your cellular data usage. I'm happy to help.

If you haven't already, I recommend restarting your iPhones, unplugging your router, and plugging it back in. This can resolve many unexpected behaviors. Use the steps below to restart:
  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
  3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue persists, reset your Network Settings. This resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Have a great day!
