Replace combo drive with Pioneer DVR-K05?

I am looking to upgrade my combo drive to be able to write DVD's.
I am looking at a Pioneer DVR-K05 which is used in notebooks. Does anyone know if this will work in my iMac G5?

If this is not the correct drive, can you recommend an OEM drive that will work?

The best resource for this kind of thing is xlr8yourmac's drive database. (Fill in:

DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW Drives
Blank
Blank
IDE
Apple iMac G5
OS X 10.4

respectively.)

There are several reports of the K05 (but not the K06) being successful in the iMac G5.

Thanks for your help. From perusing the database you referred and looking more intently on centrix-intl.com, I think I probably need the Pioneer DVR-K05PD.
