I have photos on my phone already in albums. How can I share these albums?
The only way I see is to create a new album and add each photo individually. This is a poor implementation if I am correct as one of my photo albums has over 300 pix and I am not selecting them 1 by 1

You can't simply share an existing album. You do have to select photos first and the share them, which creates a shared album.
You can multi-select by tapping your first photo and then lightly gliding your finger over other photos to select. Once you have created a shared album, you can add and subtract from it the same way.
