When I click the arrow in the upper left corner of my Home app (iPhone 7+ running iOS 10), my 4th Gen Apple TV shows Connected but the 3rd gen shows, "Disabled." How can I get it enabled and Connected?

Read this Apple Knowledge Base article. 3rd Gen Apple TV does not support it's use as a Hub, you will need 4th Gen for that...
