Allow apps from anywhere not available

Hello,

How come the "Allows apps downloaded from anywhere" is no more available in OSSierra ?

this was a useful option as we sometimes need apps not available in the appstore !

Type this in Terminal (located in /Applications/Utilities).

sudo spctl --master-disable

Then check in System Preferences to see if the "Anywhere" option is there.

Note that if you want to open apps that aren't "identified," you can also just right click on them, and choose "Open." You will only have to do this once per app. Then you can leave the setting the way it is.
