Do you mean a discount for an educational institution? You'd want to speak to Apple's Enterprise Support department - call 1-800-MY-APPLE and select Enterprise.

Do you mean for a student? I'm not aware of an Apple Care discount for students.
Apple's standard discount for education is off the price of the Hardware. It generally is discounted enough so that Hardware plus Applecare is nearly the same price as a full retail Mac alone.
There is no additional educational discount on Applecare itself, although in my opinion, there should be. Students are folks who need that additional coverage (and the stability it brings) more than almost any other group.

Yes, there is an edu. discount for example the normal cost of Apple care is $379.00 (the price depends on where you are located.) The edu. price is: $259.00 (when you buy it together with a new Mac.) If you pass by your University / College computer store, they might even have special packages that not only include the Apple care but also a cleaning kit , cables and a sleeve case included in the price... It is worth checking it out... specially at the start of the school year or just before x-mas break...
